About Loni

Loni Horsley RMT graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster in July 2001. She had Registered Massage Therapy practices in Burnaby, Mission, Abbotsford, and Kamloops (Alive and Well Massage Therapy Clinic, 2007-2020.)  She advanced her training in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy with the Vodder School International in 2004. She is duly registered with the CCHPBC (previously CMTBC), and carries insurance with, and is also a member of, the RMTBC, and, holds a City of Kamloops business licence.

Loni's primary practice focuses around stress and chronic muscle tension resulting from daily living activities, including yardwork and housework, and especially those who have repetitive motions / strains at work including computer usage, and in health care settings.  Loni also sees prenatal and postnatal patients, seniors and veterans, and those looking for pre-surgical and post-surgical care especially plastic surgery, and cancer care.

Loni values the stress-, tension-, and pain- reducing benefits that massage therapy can provide, especially when the patient can be confident in the intensive training program and accountability offered by a Registered Massage Therapist in BC.  She seeks to empower her patients by helping them find active and positive ways to be responsible for their own health including: pursuing active, frequent, fun and pain-free movement, and by seeking methods to challenge and reduce their discomfort outside of the treatment room.

She encourages people of all ages and levels of health to try the effective, ethical and safe nature of the variety of techniques Registered Massage Therapists have to offer.
